For almost 20 years Linford Judy DVM and Peggy Judy have strived to develop a sporthorse breeding program to provide superior horses for the American rider. Over the years they have had the opportunity to stand some of the country's most outstanding stallions. Included among them was the wonderfully talented Rockefeller (Rubenstein/Donnerhall) owned by Bent Jensen and the famous and beloved Swedish stallion Vivaldi (Premium A). Currently standing is the brilliant FEI Swedish stallion Pehrsson owned by Lee Steur. The FEI stallion Rubinesque *Pb*, ISR/Oldenburg NA owned by Sue Shaffer, Denver, Colorado.

The mares we use for breeding are of the best character and conformation, and many are performance horses themselves. Please consider offspring from our program for your next champion. Our foals are handled daily and are prepared from the first day of life to become outstanding performance horses.
Not only does Caduceus Farm, LLC produce excellent sporthorses, but they produced very good riders as well. When asked what Peggy's goals are, she states, "I love introducing the sport of dressage to riders of all ages. From youngsters just starting out, to adults (especially adults!) that have come back to riding after years away from horses. Often adults will have a fear of the horse they did not experience as a child...I help them work through the issues so they can enjoy the sport and look forward to their rides with enthusiasm." Adults and children learn to work as partners, communicating with the horse and creating a positive experience that carries over into their everyday lives away from the barn. Some of our riders move on into the competitive arena as well. They find a great support system here with us! I am always available as consult for sporthorse purchases from beginner horses to FEI. I will always do my best to help you buy in the USA. So if we don't have something for you from our own stock, please let me know what your needs and desires are and we can find something perfect for you!
The famous Spanish Riding School has exemplified classical dressage at its best for over 430 years. Herr Seiberl's private students and horses in Europe benefit from his instruction using these time-tested methods, successfully carrying this tradition into the competition arena.
Herbert Seiberl and the Spanish Riding School
The Spanish Riding School of Vienna, Austria, with its famous white Lipizzaner Stallions, has for over 430 years represented classical equitation at its finest. Both stallions and riders follow a careful classical training system that produces some of the best riders and horses in the world.
Boys enter the School at age 15 or 16 to attempt to become Bereiters - a commitment that, if all goes well, will be their career for the majority of their lives.
Training is intense - going through medical school and residency in the U.S. takes less time than becoming an SRS Bereiter! They spend six months on the longe before even being allowed to pick up the reins. That’s followed by several years, day in and day out, at least 40 hours a week, of intensive studying and schooling on highly trained Lipizzan stallions under the watchful and exacting eyes of SRS Bereiters.
After approximately 10 to 12 years, if the student survives the examinations and evaluations (85% do not), demonstrates that they can not only ride but can also teach others, and trains a young stallion all the way up to Grand Prix/High School level, they earn the title of Bereiter – “Rider” – of the Spanish Riding School - and so the tradition of training stallions and new Eleves entering the School carries on. There are currently one Eleve, five Assistant Bereiters, seven Bereiters, three Chief Riders, and First Chief Rider Krzisch at the Spanish Riding School.
Herbert Seiberl joined the Spanish Riding School as an Eleve in 1994 and was awarded the title of Bereiter with his stallion, Maestoso Virtuosa, in March 2005. He is one of only two Bereiters at the Spanish Riding School who can do the Long Rein solo performance, with his stallion Favory Plutona. He also rides his stallion M.Virtuosa in the “School Quadrille” and does the in-hand capriole work with Siglavy Theodora II. Herr Seiberl trains his private students and horses in Austria when he is finished with the daily riding and training at the Spanish Riding School.
Join us for this rare opportunity to learn from a Spanish Riding School Bereiter as he instructs riders and horses from Training Level to Grand Prix.
$230.00 per ride, $25.00 for audit per day ($60.00 for 3 days paid in advance)

Next Bent Jensen Clinic: July 19th and 20th. Please contact Peggy if you are interested in riding. 303-475-2608 Auditors always welcome!
The Bent Jensen Clinic on April 26th and 27th was fruitful again, as per usual! Most of the riders have been riding with Bent for some time now and have developed a wonderful relationship with him as an instructor. As a rider it is wonderful to work with a clinician that you are familiar with, so yu can continue to progress from clinic lesson to clinic lesson. Bent has an excellent memory for the horse and rider pairs. He will recall the smallest detail from past rides and zero in on issues in the present rides. Giving the rider a feel of accomplishment as well as a goal to shoot for in the coming weeks and months. There were a few new riders to Bent this past weekend. He quietly assesses the horses, their strengths and weaknesses and helps their riders feel where they need to be at their particular level of expertise. Straightness is important for the proper training of the dressage horse and that is heavily stressed in clinics with Bent. From the most novice rider and horse combination just starting their journey to the professional on the FEI horse it is all about forward, calm and straight. A wonderful weekend was had by all, including a large number of auditors. Lourie Zipf was also available for photographs and professional videotaping. Join us this summer (tentatively, July) for another Bent Jensen Clinic. Call 303-475-2608 for more information. below: photos of some clinic participants

Our daughter Josie, and I, also flew to Batavia, OH to attend the Mid-Point Presentation of Stallions at the 100 Day Stallion Testing hosted by Paxton Farms the latter part of September. What a fantastic experience! Paxton Farms is a beautiful facility that is run first rate. The stallions participating in the testing were all in excellent condition and seemed to enjoy the audience they had drawn for the occassion. Heike Kemmer had come from Germany to lend her expertise to the process. She worked with each stallion/rider combination for several days to help each stallion become the best they can be at this stage of the game. It was also open to the public and was a wealth of information. With the quality of stallions that the USA is producing, the sporthorse breeding world in North America is getting strong! ISR/Oldenburg NA also hosted a two day training symposium with Heike. It was a indepth study on the training of the dressage horse from start to GP. Horses and riders from the eastern part of the US participated. So glad we stayed the extra two days!

Since we were practically in the neighborhood, Josie and I flew on to Devon, PA to attend Dressage at Devon. Meeting up with friends from Colorado as well as friends from the East Coast, and of course Bent Jensen, we all soaked up the atmosphere of top notch riding and horses! Plus, shopping! Lots of great shopping at Devon!
Congratulations to these riders:
